The experimental alternative folk musician and producer from Northern Ireland completely evades regional comparisons: For his dreamy, powerful sound, Joshua Burnside confidently mixes Irish and Scottish folk with world music and spices up the traditional sounds with a pinch of experimental rock, Americana and a whole range of electronic sounds. His forthcoming third album, The Teeth Of Time, moves between the alternative folk sounds of Lankum and John Francis Flynn, while retaining the indie singer-songwriter and traditional folk elements of Josh's signature songwriting.
