Discovery Zone is the name of musician and multimedia artist JJ Weihl, member of the art-pop band Fenster. Raised in New York City and currently based in Berlin, Discovery Zone is the space in which Weihl creates pop music, video collages, Powerpoint presentations, and algorithmic art experiments. Her recordings and performances use a laboratory of instruments and 3D visualizations to explore the universe as a source of information. Discovery Zone's debut album was released in 2020 on Mansions and Millions. In their new work, released on RVNG International, Discovery Zone continues to explore the juxtaposition of warm analog elements and cold digital sounds, creating a conversation between the past and the future.
